Jack Lisowski lost :(
The third day of the qualifying rounds was a more "airy" one, for only 16 matches were held. And although the tension and the drama were (like dhaaa!) part of the game, I must admit that yesterday was funnier (fun being a generic term, don’t get me wrong). :P

One of the biggest surprises of the day was the match between the youngster Jack Lisowski and Andy Hicks, which ended 3-1, in favor of Andy. And so, Jack loses his chance of breathing the autumnal air of Scotland in September. In a similar situation, the Chinese Xiao Goudong lost 3-2 to Darren Morgan.

The Maltese Tony Drago beat Joel Walker 3-1 and the giant of snooker from Brazil, the man of the moment, Igor Figueiredo whitewashed David Gilbert 3-0 and so wins a place in the qualifying round from September 19, when he’ll be playing against Mark Williams. Yesterday I was telling you about the 11 matches due to be held in Glasgow in September. Well, the 10th match is the one I’ve just told you about and the 11th is the one in which Shaun Murphy and Dave Harold are the main figures. :)
The Brazilian Igor will face Mark Williams in September
Another match worth to be mention is the one between the Irish Joe Delaney and the Thai Thanawat Tirapongpaiboon, which ended 3-2 in favor of Thailand’s man.
Only one century break for today: David Morris (101).
Here, you can check the latest results.

The last day of the qualifying rounds should be a more interesting one, for the last day is always like that, things get really spicy :)) So, I’ll see you tomorrow for another snooker treat :P See yaa!!!
