Here we are peeps! The start of the new season! Yipeeeeee! Yeah, well ... I’m happy! What’s wrong with that?! And you should be happy as well, because this new season will be a truly revolutionary one, with snooker being played in every corner of this world and a lot more surprises to come, for I’m sure Barry Hearn has one or two more rabbits to pull out of his magician hat. Just saying :-))

This month we shall have out first ranking event, although a minor ranking one, the Players Tour Championship Event 1 (PTC1) and the mighty qualifying rounds for a brand new tournament that will take place in far, far away Australia. You know, somewhere at the end of the world ... that’s how far snooker is going for its fans.
So, let’s see how this snooker month is presenting itself, shall we? ;-)
