O'Sullivan withdraws from Australian Goldfields Open

After Graeme Dott announced he is not to attend the Australian Goldfields Open, this brand new ranking event that will take place in Bendigo during 18-24 of July, due to health problems, another player joins him.


World Snooker has just revealed the news that Ronnie O'Sullivan had to pull out of the Australia tournament after accusing severe neck and back pains. According to the same source, the Rocket travelled half way through the Oz’s country (aka. Bangkok), but decided to go back to the UK and resolve his medical problems.


O'Sullivan would have had to play against this year's World Championship's first round opponent Dominic Dale, now the ex-resident from Vienna facing wildcard Steve Mifsud.

Ronnie has experienced a very good start for this season, winning the first Players Tour Championship by beating Joe Perry 4-0.
