It was about bloody time to see some action and I mean serious action, because that's what July is all about. We shall have the honor to be part of three major snooker delights and all three of them will be available on your personal TVs.
We will start by taking a little trip to China, where the Wuxi Classic will take place, then fly to Thailand for the revived World Cup and finally go all the way to Australia, for the brand new Australia Goldfields Open.

1. Wuxi Classic


When? : 7 - 10 July
Where?: Wuxi, China
Defending champion: Shaun Murphy
Who's playing?: click here for the draw.
Prize money: winner (£20,000), runner-up (£10,000), losing semi-finalists (£5,000), losing quarter-finalists (£2,500), round one (£1,250). There will also be a prize money for the highest break (£1,000).

2. PTT-EGAT Snooker World Cup


When?: 11 - 17 July
Where?: Bangkok, Thailand
Defending champion:  -
Who's playing?: click here for the draw.
Prize Money: winner ($200,000), runner-up ($100,000), losing semi-finalists ($60,000), losing quarter-finalists ($30,000), third in group ($15,000), forth in group ($12,500), fifth in group ($7,500). There will also be a prize money of $15,000 for the highest break in the knock-out stage and one of $5,000 for the group stage. Please note that the prizes are awarded per team and NOT per player.

3. Australian Goldfields Open


When?: 18 - 24 July
Where?: Bendigo, Australia
Defending champion: -
Who's playing?: update needed.
Prize money: winner ($60,000), runner-up ($30,000), losing semi-finalists ($20,000), losing quarte-finalists ($15,000), for the Last 16 ($10,000), for the Last 32 ($7,500) and for the Last 64 ($2,000). There will also be a prize money for TV highest break ($2,500) and one for the non-TV highest break ($500).
