Players Tour Championship Event Four 2011 - the qualifiers (day 1)

I can't say there have been many notable surprises during the first day of the qualifiers, mainly because names like Allan Taylor, Ban Harrison, Robbie Williams, Craig Steadman, Kyren Wilson shined on the winners list yet again.
The funny thing is that Allen Taylor whitewashed Dirk Hochheim 4-0 and hammered Oezyurt Aksoy 4-1 to book his decisive-round-three-match with Ben Harrison, who had just crashed both of his opponents, Laurin Winters and Felix Pleschek. This is going to be one hell of a cue battle, I tell ya!
Robbie Williams has sung his way through the balls by beating Stephane Ochoiski 4-1 and the local start Patrick Einsle 4-0, Kyren Wilson won 4-0 over Diana Schuler and got a bye to the next round due to Sydney Wilson withdrawal, Craig Steadman deteated Rita Jakisch 4-0 and ended on a kind-of-expected 4-3 with Jak Jones, while Nick Jennings had a fabulous day winning 4-0 over Bernd Friedrich and Stevo Vucicevic.
A glorious day for China, as Chen Zhe whitewashed both of his opponents, Norbert Eckstein and Zafir Dilji, while his country-man Zhang Anda performed the same scoreline in front of Michael Peyr and Michael Wild.
Some very nice surprises to see Ian Glover doing so well, the potter from England winning both of his snooker confrontations, 4-2 with Alex Taumbman and 4-0 with Martin Roesler, but also Stephen Craigie, who managed to defeat Rudiger Nickel 4-0 and the one and only Marc J. Davis 4-1.
