Snooker in December 2011

Hey world! December it's here and with it the smell of Christmas, obsessive shopping for presents and new ideas for where and how to spend the New Year.
But wait a second! That's not what this blog is about, right? No, it's about snooker because "In snooker we trust" and so let's focus on what's December bringing for all the snooker loopies out there, shall we?

The answer couldn't be any simpler: the UK Championship! The second most important and prestigious tournament in the snooker calendar is starting on December 3rd and for a whole week the lads will try their best and give their best in order to get their hands on that shiny trophy.
Although the location has been changed to York and the format is a shorter one, there's not doubt we will love to have our share of competitive snooker all wrapped up beautifully under the name of UK Championship

During the final stages of this wonderful snooker event, the PTC 11 qualifying rounds are kicking off, a few days after that the main event starting. PTC 12 will be also underway after the UK Championship is over, only be played partially, because the Last 16 round along with the quarter-finals, semis and final are taking place next year in Germany.
