Drago comes back for victory against Duffy
The second day of the brand new ranking event due to take place in China at the end of this month, found the Q School graduates in not such a great form, although their start wasn't bad at all.

So with a not-going-to-China-just-yet ticket we have Martin O'Donnell, who lost 5-3 to Alfie Burden, Paul Davison who experienced the same result by playing against David Gilbert, Michael Wasley who was hammered 5-1 by one very-eager-to-compete Thai Passakorn Suwannawat, Joel Walker, who was defeated by an ingrate scoreline of 5-4 by a more experienced Peter Lines, but also Chen Zhe who was crashed 5-0 by Simon Bedford.

Back on the "winners' camp" both Luca Brecel and Tony Drago continued their terrific start. Brecel managed to leave out of the competition the powerful Thai player Dechawat Poomjaeng by winning 5-4, while Drago put on quite a fight to come back from being lead 3-o down and win the battle of cues against Adam Duffy by 5-3.

Maflin is ready to meet the Nugget
A very impressive victory was obtained by Barry Pinches who whitewashed China's Tian Pengfei 5-0, while Norway' Kurt Maflin continued his good run and took down another player, this time Andy Hicks playing the victim role, in order to set up his next match with the one and only Nugget of snooker, Steve Davis.

The two players from Thailand whose names are not even possible to write on the scoreboard (because are soooo long), Thepchaiya Un-Nooh and Thanawat Tirapongpaiboon (also known as Double T), lost their chance to move forward in the competition, Jimmy Robertson being responsabile for the exit of the first named one by 5-0, while another pink soldier, this time Michael White, sent home the second named one by 5-3.
