Allan Taylor is ready for the kill
The second day of the Players Tour Championship Event One concludes the qualifying rounds and starting from Monday the pros will pick up their cues and play against each other, as well as against the amateurs that survived the two days` test.
Although there have been a few surprises here and there, the majority of the players that are ready to start genuine battles of cues with the heavy names in the business are the ones that have had sensational performances during these last past weeks.

Allan Taylor has booked himself a place next to the snooker stars after defeating the Indian Shahram Changezi 4-2, Ben Harrison continued his wonderful run and beat Joel Walker by the same scoreline, while Kyren Wilson absolutely crashed his last opponent Ian Stark by a 4-0 result.

Great start for Zhang Anda
Surprisingly Michael Judge found himself being eliminated from the first PTC event after Farakh Ajaib put him in the corner with a 4-0 scoreline, while Reanne Evans was pretty unfortunate to win her first match (4-2 with Chris Keogan), but lose the second one (and ironically by the same 4-2, this time in favor of Ian Glover).

The clash between Alex Taubman and Shane Castle ended with Shane earning a spot in the main competition, while the snooker encounter that Sam Harvey had with Robbie Williams meant the "singer" will definitely be playing in the next round after defeating Sam 4-3.

Some wonderful cue action was noticed in the corner where Chris Norbury was playing, the Englishman whitewashing both of his opponents, 4-0 with James Cahill and Danny Brindle, while China’s star Anda Zhang took control over Ryan Causton with a 4-2 scoreline and eliminated Michael Wild with a defining 4-0.

Also, I can’t overlook Nick Jennings` great form, the player defeating James Welsh 4-2 in order to meet the Magician Murphy up next and Craig Steadman’s cue action who hammered Callum Downing 4-1 and crashed Ashtley Wright 4-0 for a match against Adrian Gunnell. And since we are on the "what pro I shall meet in my first round", Justin Ashley’s confidence brought him one step close to an encounter with Ricky Walden, after he won 4-0 over Jack Bradford and Andrew Rogers.
