Wild cards for Shanghai Masters 2011
With the date already set for September 5-11 and with the qualifiers finished about a week ago, the Back of Communication Shanghai Masters 2011 only needed the wild cards to be published. And today the complete list of eight wild cards has been revealed.So, Iran's Hossein Vafaei will meet Ireland’s Fergal O'Brien, the Chinese Jin Long will face the powerful Thai James Wattana, Li Hang will take on the fearless 'Sheriff of Pottingham' Anthony Hamilton, Cao Xinlong has booked an encounter with the "mad for music" Welshman Dominic Dale, Rouzi Maimaiti will play against Jack Lisowski, our friend with an interminable name Thanawat Thirapongpaiboon will have to fight our best 007 Agent, Nigel Bond, Tang Jun will definitely see pink in front of his eyes, as he must play Robert Milkins, while Cai Jianzhong and Michael Holt will have a face to face snooker meeting.
But we still have a long way to go until Shanghai Masters 2011 will kick off, as two more Players Tour Championships await (PTC 3 17-21 of August and PTC 4 24-28 of August), as well as two Premier League editions (August 18 and September 1st). We do get spoiled these days, don’t you agree? :-)
