Snooker in October 2011
The month
of October will find us in Poland for the last two day of the Players Tour
Championship Event 6, but after that we are flying back home in the UK. And we
shall remain there until the end of autumn's second month.
The fun
will start early, on October 5th another glorious PTC event taking
place. Of course that I'm talking about Players Tour Championship Event 7 (aka. The
Kay Suzanne Memorial Trophy), the event being held at the lovely South West Snooker Academy
from Gloucester.
But as the cues will start to hit the balls, in Weston-Super-Mare the fifth
week of the Premier League will also kick off, so on October 6th four more players will try their best to earn
more points in order to obtain a better position on the “snooker charts”.
As the PTC
7 will finish on October 9th, we are not to leave Gloucester because for the next couple of
days the World Seniors Championship qualifiers will start, bringing together
some really great names from the snooker industry.
The cities
of Stoke and Exeter will open their arms for Premier League’s week six and seven, while the end of the month will find us in Ireland for the
Players Tour Championship Event 8 (aka. The Alex Higgins International Trophy).
