Ahoy, me Hearties!
The player known under the nickname of "The Wizard of Wishaw" - John Higgins - will grow a moustache this month to raise money for cancer charities, says World Snooker.

"Movember - changing the face of men's health" - that's the motto this event runs under for a whole month (November) each year. Its goal? To raise awareness and vital funds for all types of cancer that affects men and especially prostate cancer.  

The event started back in 1999 in Australia as a small one, but it evolved in a global movement throughout the world in countries such as: New Zealand, the US, Canada, the UK, Finland, the Netherlands, Spain, South Africa and Ireland. 
In addition, Movember is aware of Mo Bros and Mo Sistas supporting the campaign and men’s health cause right across the globe, from Russia to Dubai, Hong Kong to Antarctica, Rio de Janeiro to Mumbai, and everywhere in between.

This year snooker decided to get involved too, so the current world champion John Higgins will be growing a moustache for the entire month of November. You can see the lad and his brand new look at the PTCs, Premier League, but also the Power Snooker tournament.
