Tremendous week here at the Circus Arena from Bucharest where snooker has been the name of the game for the inaugural edition of the European Masters.

And what a better way to end this edition than with a classical final featuring the names of Judd Trump and Ronnie O'Sullivan, right?

This Saturday marked the semi-final stages of the European Masters tournament, Judd Trump being the first name to book his place in the grand final after a 6-2 victory obtained in front of the world reigning champion, Mark Selby.

Trump was sure to secure himself a pretty comfortable 2-0 lead with a bit of help from breaks of 135 and 72 and was almost ready to get another frame on the board, but lost position down on 56 this allowing Selby to pull out a great, great "stunt" and dramatically win his first frame on the black.

Still, by the end of the first session, the Bristolian was restoring his two-frame advantage after hitting a 66 break.

As the lads returned, 10 minutes later, Trump was quick in extending his lead to 4-1, Selby barely managing to scrap his way and win the 6th frame with just a top break of 32.

The last two frames of the match were easily captured by Judd with a top break of 70 and a tremendous battle on the colours in frame eight. And there you go: Judd Trump was in the final!

His opponent, Ronnie O'Sullivan was even quicker in cruising towards the grand final, "The Rocket" whitewashing Neil Robertson 6-0.

O'Sullivan was surely "in the zone" potting like a machine at full speed, breaks of 118, 79, 46, 92, 63 and 96 being proof of that.

So there you go! What more can you ask for? We have a classical final on our hands and if both players will continue to play like they did in the semis, we have such a great snooker show to attend to this Sunday.

Be sure to follow the lads from 1pm (the first session) and from 7pm (the second session) - local time- for a genuine snooker show.
